Xinjiang Hydrogen Equipment Project Filed with RMB 103 Million Investment

A hydrogen equipment manufacturing and integrated project developed by Hami Qinghao Energy Equipment Co., Ltd. has been officially filed in Hami, Xinjiang, China.

Located in the Hami High-Tech Zone, the project has a total investment of RMB 103.01 million. The company will lease approximately 3,510 square metres of standard factory space to establish production lines for magnesium-based solid-state hydrogen storage systems and hydrogen refuelling station equipment.

The project will also include the procurement of key equipment for hydrogen refuelling station equipment manufacturing and hydrogen storage system integration, together with an R&D centre, testing laboratory and supporting facilities.

Once completed, the facility is planned to produce 10 sets of 1-tonne magnesium-based solid-state hydrogen storage systems designed for cyclic operation, including auxiliary heating equipment, as well as 200 sets of hydrogen refuelling station equipment and 200 compressors annually.

The project will also establish assembly lines for hydrogen-powered two-wheelers and stationary power generation equipment. The planned production capacity includes 1,000 hydrogen-powered two-wheelers and 100 hydrogen-powered stationary power generation units per year.

The project will expand Hami Qinghao Energy Equipment’s manufacturing capabilities across hydrogen storage, refuelling infrastructure and hydrogen-powered mobility, supporting the development of the hydrogen industry in Hami.
